Located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, Sherman Oaks is located just north of Bel Air and Beverly Hills. Sherman Oaks is the perfect mix of suburban and commercial. 

SHOPPING & GROCERIES
Ventura Boulevard, a street with many shops and restaurants, runs through the heart of Sherman Oaks. A few of the shops on Ventura Boulevard include Urban Outfitters, Buffalo Exchange, Iguana Vintage, and Soto. Sherman Oaks also has many grocery stores like a newly-built Ralphs, Gelson’s, Whole Foods, and Vons.

Sherman Oaks is home to an abundance of unique food and dining options. Restaurants like Sweet Butter, Blu Jam Cafe, The Local Peasant, and The Sherman are all popular, delicious, and in Sherman Oaks. 

STAYING ACTIVE
Part of the Los Angeles River runs through Sherman Oaks, allowing residents to run, walk, or bike along it. In addition, workout facilities like Corepower Yoga, Orange Theory Fitness, and Barry’s Bootcamp are all located in Sherman Oaks. 

SCHOOLS & COMMUNITY
Sherman Oaks is located within the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). According to Niche, the public schools in Sherman Oaks are highly ranked compared to other LAUSD public schools. Many private schools are located in or near Sherman Oaks, such as Harvard-Westlake and Campbell Hall. 

According to the Los Angeles Crime Report, Sherman Oaks crime rates are low.

LANDMARKS & ATTRACTIONS
One of Sherman Oaks’ most popular attractions is Sherman Oaks Castle Park, an entertainment complex with an arcade, miniature golf, and a batting range. In addition, there is also a laser tag complex located in Sherman Oaks. There is also the Sherman Oaks Galleria, a shopping center with one of the most popular movie theaters in the city.
