Old Town Pasadena is one of the most well known places to shop at where people from other states come to California just to shop at this location. In addition, Arcadia, the city right next to Pasadena, has a Westfield Santa Anita mall.

One Colorado is home to family-run businesses, boutiques and uniques, and national retailers. The 10-block South Lake Avenue district is home to brand-name fashion and home decor shops. The Rose Bowl Flea Market, held the second Sunday of every month, has more than 2,500 vendors selling vintage, antiques, and collectibles.

The Pasadena Rose Parade is a cultural event that marks the beginning of the Rose Bowl Game. During the 5.5 mile parade, rose floats, equestrian units, and marching bands are featured.
The Rose Bowl Stadium is one of the most famous venues in sporting history. The stadium is known for hosting Rose Bowl, a postseason college football game. It is the 16th largest stadium in the world and the 10th largest in the United States. The Gamble House is a prime example of American Arts and Crafts style architecture. Since its establishment in 1908, none of the furnishings has changed. Tourists have come to The Gable house to admire its oriental characteristics. The home is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Old Pasadena, the original commercial center, features an old-fashioned downtown experience combined with modern conveniences.
