Glendale is one of the most beautiful cities in LA county. It is a place where it is a nice quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of the LA city and the city has one of the best malls in California. 

School District
According to niche.com, the Glendale Unified School district received an overall rating of an A because of its outstanding academics. The city of Glendale is a huge community where it is actually separated into two parts. There is a northern glendale, which Crescenta Valley High School is located at and there is a southern glendale, which Glendale High School is located at. There are about five high schools located in the city of glendale. One of the best high schools in the Glendale area is Crescenta Valley high school and it is ranked the 55 best high schools in California. It is also the 65 best college prep public high schools in the state of California. It is also ranked as the 363 best public schools in America out of 19,314. The other main high school located in the city is Glendale High School, which is known for its diversity and academics. It is ranked as 565 of the most diverse public high schools and the 495 best high schools in California.

The city is the 37% safest city in the nation and according to areavibes.com, the crime rating of Glendale is an overall rating of A. 

Shopping
Glendale holds one of the most famous shopping centers in California, which is The Americana at Brand. The Americana at Brand is one of the most magnificent places to shop at where it has a beautiful fountain located in the center of the shopping mall. In addition, every christmas, the shopping center decorates the entire place with stunning lights and they decorate one of the tallest christmas trees in California. This is certainly one of the most prettiest places to be during the most happiest time of the year. Not only does Glendale have The Americana at Brand, but they also have the Glendale Galleria located right next to it. This mall has everything you need where local residents from Southern California travel to this mall just to shop. 

Restaurants
Many of the famous restaurants are located near or in the Americana at Brand. There are a variety of restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory, the Granville, Din Tai Fung, Porto’s bakery, Lemonade, Shake Shack, and the Japanese restaurant Katsuya. The city also has many dessert places like Haagen Daaz, Sprinkles, the Pie Hole, and a macaroon shop called Laduree. 

Grocery Stores
Grocery stores in Glendale are not a problem because there is one located in every corner of the neighborhood. There are multiple Vons and multiple Ralphs located in the center of the city. There are also a Whole Foods Market, a Glendale Ranch Market Glendale, and a Farm District Marketplace. 

Gyms and Activities
The city of Glendale is such a vast community where there are a variety of things you could possibly do in the city. If you are a person who loves gyming, there is a Gold's Gym, a 24 Hour Fitness, a CLASS UFC Gym and a LA Fitness. The city has its own roller rink called the Moonlight Roller Rink and its own golf course. 

Landmarks and Attractions
The city has too many landmarks and attractions where it is located next to the incredible Griffith Observatory. This observatory is one of the most brilliant places to see in California because of its stunning view of LA county.There are also multiple museums located in the city, which are the Museum of Neon Museum and the Autry Museum of the American West. The Los Angeles Zoo is also located in Glendale.

If you are more of a nature person, Glendale is the perfect city because the Deukmejian Wilderness Park, the Beaudry Loop hiking trail, and the Verdugo park are located in the city. Glendale is also the city right next to Universal City, which holds the most well-known theme parks in California, Universal Studios Hollywood.
